Experienced and trained GTI Hoist site engineers plan and manage the installation of Hoists with safety being the highest priority for the installation team. The installation area, access routes and site conditions will be inspected prior to the installation to produce installation drawings, method statements and risk assessments by trained GTI Hoist engineers. We use the supplied drawings and site information to carry out the installation of hoists at competitive rates. A self-erecting winch or tower crane ensures working at height is reduced as the height of the Hoist mast is adjusted.

Tie-assemblies are used to secure the mast stick to the outside of the building which can be configured for the Hoist type and structure fittings. When fitting hoists to new buildings, to avoid drilling the flooring to add mechanical anchors, GTI Hoist recommends using tie-embedment sockets on to the slab rebar prior to the slab concrete being poured. GTI Hoist ensure all ‘working at height’ procedures are adhered to for utmost safety, using the correct ‘working at height’ personal protective equipment.
