GTI Hoist Ltd were successfully awarded a service contract for the bespoke rack and pinion hoist with Alimak running gear, installed at Lazard RNLIstation in Cornwall, following successful commissioning, repairs and a LOLER Thorough Examination. Due to this success, GTI Hoist Ltdwere awarded 2 further RNLI service contractswhich also includes breakdown cover and spareparts at The Padstow and Hayle lifeboat stationand workshop, also in Cornwall. The vital job of the rack and pinion hoist is to transport casualties on stretches from the RNLI station safely up the cliff face to enable them to be transferred to hospital as quickly and safely as possible.
